The Supply of Equipment for the Radiation Monitoring System at the Central Spent Fuel Storage Facility (CSFSF)

The project’s objective is the construction of a new storage facility for spent fuel originating at the Ukrainian nuclear power plants operated by SE NNEGC Energoatom.
VF got the subcontract for the supply of the following radiation monitoring equipment: area gamma monitoring, area neutron monitoring, and contamination monitoring of personnel leaving the facility.

Services provided included:

  • The design of the system 
  • Type approval testing and certification
  • Metrological certification and initial verification
  • Installation and pre-commissioning supervision
  • Personnel training
