In 2018, VF won the tender for the supply of two calibration laboratories to the Central Office of Measures (Główny Urząd Miar), Poland. This office is the supreme national metrological organization of Poland. 
The delivery and installation was completed in 2019. 
The complete scope of supply featured the following:

  • A GI-06 radiation protection irradiator with three radionuclide sources: Cs 137 (7 GBq) Am-241 (50 GBq) and Co-60 (50 GBq)
  • The installation of two more Cs-137 sources provided by the customer (28 GBq and 4 TBq)
  • A 3D calibration bench
  • A T-100 Terabalt radiation therapy Co-60 irradiator system
  • A Co-60 source (600 TBq)
  • 3D positioning system
  • Safety interlocks
  • Remote control software
  • Laser systems

Services provided included the facility design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning and the training of personnel.
